Love the packaging on these Swedish made Urbanears headphones. They come in 2 models and 14 different colors. Music always sounds better when you’re listening to it in style…

Photographer Rune Guneriussen shoots normal household objects acting as wild animals in nature. The contrast she creates between the clean and smooth objects and the edgy, rugged, dirty outdoors in incredible. Like, the one right below, shows two chairs fighting for dominance on the beach as a line of others watch. Very unique and awesome…

I’ve been waiting for this…you can mess with type and designs all you want, but to go colorless and still sell your product, if not more than before, takes skill. I commend you Coke. I’m going to make sure to drink one in public so everyone can see how cool it is…

Paul Coudamy has created a set of furniture from secondhand objects from ebay, entitled Random Resurrection. The collection is made up of a meeting table, made of 3 different tables, and 10 different chairs. I’d definitely use this as a dining room table though…

I’m usually not a fan of wall clocks with hands…but for this one, I’ll definitely make an exception. Its made of a recycled aluminum bike wheel and gear set. It mounts directly on the wall using the hub so it looks like its floating off. And to top it off, all of them are different and have actually been used before.

Check out these awesome new messenger bags by 25togo Design Store. Theres one style that looks like a giant envelope, which is innovative in itself, but they also have an strap that goes the opposite direction as the main, that goes under your arm so it doesn’t slide down while riding. Definitely want one.

Special thanks to Haley Newman for showing me this!
Check out these incredible illustrations by 19 year-old South Korean artist Minjae Lee. He uses old-fashioned tools like markers, pens and crayons to create extremely dramatic and aggressive pieces that are nothing but eye-candy.

"Good ideas turn into good designs fairly quickly. If you catch yourself fiddling too much with colors, borders, and treatments to bring a design together, chances are the problem lies somewhere deeper."
Ryan Singer
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been busy working on this!

All those hours of typing paid off. It came out great. And now that I have my computer back from getting fixed I can get back to posting regularly.

After getting frustrated from not being able to read the Japanese language when doing business in Japan, Michael Johnson and his company Johnson Banks has developed a typeface that has English phonetic sounds built into the Japanese characters. They call it “Phonetikana.”

Here’s how it works…UNIQLO in Japanese is pronounced “yoo nee koo roh.” Here’s those 4 characters in Phonetikana:

This is how “Michael” would look in Phonetikana:

Johnson Banks also has one of the coolest websites I’ve seen in a while. Check it out here.
Well, if I had $5,200 to spare I’d probably get the new Nikon D3s. This beast has a max ISO of 102,400, 12.1 megapixels and can shoot bursts of up to 36 RAW files or 82 JPEG files…I mean, I could always sell my car…Good thing I have a bike then…

Took some photos for the Village/Kingsley RA’s last night. They came out pretty good. I wish I could’ve shot more but they were pressed for time.
